Antonia's school, your child's second home
A children's dance school built on seventeen seasons of Suffolk shows, exams, festivals and Friday-night giggles, led from the front by its founder.
Our story
Dancing in Suffolk since 2009
Antonia Cobbin opened the doors of her school in Felixstowe in 2009 with a simple idea: children do their best dancing when they feel safe, known and celebrated. Hundreds of dancers have come through our doors in the years since, and many of our older students first walked in as pre-schoolers.
Today the school dances across two venues, in Felixstowe and Needham Market, teaching ballet, tap, modern, acrobatics, street dance and musical theatre. We are a fully qualified school registered with the ISTD and ITDA faculties, and our dancers have performed at dance festivals, competitions and West End performances alongside some of the most prestigious dance schools.
If you follow us on Facebook, you already know the voice of the school is Antonia's own: proud, warm and always in the thick of it. That has not changed since 2009, and it never will.

Trusting someone with your child is the biggest decision a parent makes about any activity. Here is how we honour it.
A registered, qualified school
We are a fully qualified school registered with the ISTD and ITDA faculties, teaching to recognised syllabi with proper professional standards.
Clear class rules
Parents wait outside the hall while class runs, so children can focus and teachers can teach. Dancers are collected promptly at the end of class and are never left waiting unaccompanied.
Photo and social media care
Photographs are only used for promotion with permission, and families can ask for any image to be removed. Our social media rules ask everyone not to post images of other people's children without consent.

How we run
Organised like a school, loved like a family
Online booking
Registration, class booking and payments all run through our ClassManager portal, so family admin stays simple and paper-free.
Proper uniform
Our branded uniform, supplied by Rock the Dragon, starts after your child's first half term. It builds pride, and it means no one is ever dressed "wrong" for class.
Term-time rhythm
Terms mirror Suffolk school dates and fees are billed per half term, so dance fits family life instead of fighting it.
